16 Feb

A young woman from Co Leitrim who was reported missing last week has been found safe and well.

Caitríona Horan (22), a law graduate of Trinity College Dublin, was found just hours after a new photograph was issued by gardaí  searching for her.

Ms Horan walked into Pearse Street Garda station in Dublin at about 3.30pm today after she was spotted in a café in Dawson Street.

Members of her family travelled immediately to the Garda station to meet her.

She was reported missing last Wednesday. She was supposed to stay with her older sister Gillian in Ashtown that evening but failed to turn up.

New CCTV footage released by gardaí earlier today placed her in Ennis, Co Clare on Saturday and it is believed she also went to Cork before returning to Dublin.
